KDK Factory is an international film production and multimedia distribution company. It began by producing short films and then moved to feature-length documentary productions of which ''16 Days in Afghanistan'' is the most known and Mohsen Makhmalbaf's The Gardener being the most recent. The company mainly produces and distributes documentaries for a number of non-profit organizations that deal with a variety of issues, such as human rights, the African American civil rights movement, women equality and universal education. In 2009, the company produced a film about the life of a Muslim-American Azim Khamisa who chose to forgive his son's murderer and the events that surrounded that true inspiring story.
